About Our Road Trip

In the summer of 2009, James McAuley and Cayce Clifford are setting off into the American West for five weeks to document America’s counterculture and the undiscovered “cool” lifestyles in the American West. Both Jim and Cayce are photojournalism students at Ohio University’s School of Visual Communications. They will be covering approximately 10,000 miles in a white Chevy HHR, passing through 22 states.
